Enter the email address and password when prompted.
If you see an option to Manually Configure, select it, or uncheck the box next to Automatically Configure Account, depending on the device. Select POP (or POP3) for the type of email server.
For the incoming email server, you’ll need to enter pop-server. Plus the text after the @ sign in your Roadrunner email address.
For example, mine is pop-server.nc.rr.com. If this throws an error message or you find that you cannot receive mail, try changing it to pop-server.roadrunner.com. Should 587 result in errors or you find that you cannot send email later, come back and change it to 25. Again, be sure to disable SSL, Verify Certificate and/or Secure Server if you can find these settings, possibly under an Advanced button or in a drop-down list.
Make sure the box is checked for requiring login for SMTP, if you see such a setting, and it should auto-fill your username and password again. Ensure that it shows your entire email address as the username.
